Truly impressed
When I found out I was pregnant I knew that I wanted to use some form of baby wearing, but did I want a wrap, a sling, or maybe a carrier?
I live in the PNW where the weather can be scorching hot in the summer and very rainy in the cooler months. I tried the wrap style carriers when my baby was first born in July, the temps were in theRead more about review stating Truly impressed high 90?s, the wrap was very hot and had a lot of bulky fabric to tie. Then when I was contacted by weeSpring parent panel to try a carrier, I was in. When I opened the box for the Ergobaby Embrace the first thing I noticed was how light and soft the carrier was. We had a dinner out with friends that evening and I knew it would be the perfect setting outdoors to test it out. I rolled the carrier up, it was quite compact and fit into my small backpack style diaper bag with ease. When we arrived at the outing I pulled the carrier out and got it on very quickly and easily, the carrier sits higher up on your waist which I found to be very comfortable, the straps widened and fit over my shoulders to comfortably distribute baby?s weight, the clips to fasten were easy to do on your own with no assistance. My baby loved being in this style of carrier and fell asleep almost instantly. I was able to visit and eat with our friends at dinner and not have to worry about Adilyn. I also never overheated. The Ergobaby Embrace is also something that doesn?t distract from what you are wearing. It?s thin and stylish and goes with any attire. Now that we have gotten into rainy weather I can put the Ergobaby on in seconds and run my errands without getting soaked. This carrier has become such a staple. My husband and I wear it almost daily. Just want to point out the I?m 5?1 and my husband is 6?2 and adjusting the carrier is done very easily when transitioning between the two of us. Thanks again to weeSpring parent panel for giving us the opportunity to try and review such an amazing product. We highly recommend the Ergobaby Embrace!!

Just Right!
We received the Ergobaby Embrace from the WeeSpring/ Stellar Produc Parent Panel.
I had high hopes for this product from the day we were selected to test it and we were not disappointed! We have felt like Goldilocks as we try to find a carrier that works for us and our LO. A wrap is nice and cozy – but impossible to deal wiRead more about review stating Just Right!th under any pressure. A more structured carrier was easier to put on, but didn?t offer the same snug security of a wrap carrier. The Ergobaby Embrace was just right!
Our LO was nice and comfy and I was able to put it on easily – even though we were running late and I was feeling rushed! We?ve worn it both out and about and around the house and it?s been great.
While the carrier was a little warm when it was above 75 degrees out, that?s mostly a challenge for the wearer – my LO didn?t seem to mind too much. The spreadable shoulder straps and waistband kept everything cozy but comfortable!

The ease of a carrier and softness of a wrap!
Review by Amberhowardhere on 3 Oct 2019review stating The ease of a carrier and softness of a wrap! When I was given an Ergobaby Embrace carrier from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out, I wasn’t sure that it would be able to outdo the structured carrier I’ve been using lately. I have been faithful to my old carrier and it served me well, but I didn’t know what I had been missing out on! I thought that with having six kids, I’ve tried tRead more about review stating The ease of a carrier and softness of a wrap!hem all, but I’ve never seen one like this!!
The first thing I noticed was how soft and sleek the Embrace is compared to other carriers with scratchy material. It feels like a very high quality material and has the perfect amount of stretch (very little but enough) to make my son feel super cozy while I wear him in it! It is also about half the size of my others while folded, which means I am able to fit it in my diaper bag in case I need it while we are out. This was huge for me because my other one was so big and hard to fold, I had to have one of my older children carry it for me and hope they didn’t drag it along the ground! Speaking of which, this carrier can be thrown in the washer on cold water, which is super important to me. I have gone to great lengths to clean other carriers that cannot be machine washed and it is such a bummer. I mean, it’s a baby product, it’s going to get dirty!
Another thing that I love about the Embrace is that it’s so much faster and easier to put on than my wraps. I would seriously have to watch a Youtube video every so often to remember how to use that thing because it’s so complex. But the embrace is super simple without compromising on the comfort. It has spreadable shoulder straps to distribute the weight across my back which makes it more comfortable than my carrier.
Finally, although the look of the carrier isn’t as important as the other features (to me at least), I can’t help but mention that this one looks much better than the others I’ve used. I just really love everything about it, except that I won’t be able to use it with my son once he’s over 25 pounds! I would recommend getting it before your baby is born if possible so that you can start using it as soon as he/she is at the minimum weight. This carrier is a total lifesaver and absolutely perfect for the first 6 months (or so)!

Super soft and easy to use
My son is four months old and he is our first child. In working through many of the new adventures of parenting we have ended up with many different carriers. I really like this carrier. It?s very soft, goes on with three clicks and is compact. Compact is nice, especially in this phase we are in now where I feel like I?m traveling for a week wheneRead more about review stating Super soft and easy to usever we leave the house. It?s so far the only inward facing carrier that he has liked, he actually dozed off while I was out and about doing house chores, and it?s very nice that he can face out to as he gets older. My favorite thing about this carrier is that it has all the features that I want in a wrap but does not require the origami and yards of fabric needed for most wraps. It also feels very secure. Glad Ergo Baby made this carrier! Great for infants!

Finally, there’s a comfortable, easy-to-use carrier for newborns and young infants! As a mom of two under two, I’m always looking for ways to free up my hands. I’ve tired every type of baby wearing device: wraps, ring slings, structured carriers, the “3-in-1.” All of them have their uses, but they all seem to be made for an older baby, and then yoRead more about review stating Best Carrier for Infants 0-6m (and beyond!)u have to modify them in some complicated way to make them work for a newborn. There’s an insert for the structured carrier, there’s a confusing way to tie the wrap, etc.
Enter the Ergo Embrace! (Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this product!) This carrier is so simple, you can easily put baby in it without worrying you’re going to drop her or needing an extra set of arms. It’s light-weight with no bulky parts, so it’s easy to roll up and pack in a diaper bag. It breathes well and is great for any weather. I’ve worn it around the house, out on walks, and even to a baseball game. My daughter always feels snug and secure cuddled right up against me, and she happily snoozes in it regularly. Now that she can hold her head up, she loves facing forward to watch everything, and I love that I don’t have to do anything complicated to switch her around!
The “modification” for a newborn is brilliantly simple – just roll the waist-band! (Which is super comfy BTW). My favorite feature is the spreadable shoulder straps. They are so soft and cozy! Most wraps and carriers I’ve tried create some kind of pressure points that start to hurt after a while, but these straps make my now-16lb-pumpkin feel light as a feather! I can carry her for much longer without feeling like I need to readjust or take a break.
The only drawback I can see with this carrier is it doesn’t do a side carry, which can be helpful while doing chores around the house. But it’s so simple and comfortable that I find myself reaching for it first every time I want to wear my baby. Baby loves it, I love it, what more could you want?

Cozy, lightweight carrier
I received the Ergobaby Embrace Baby Carrier to test for free through the Stellar Panel in exchange for my honest review. I tried out this carrier with my then 5 week old baby. My baby appeared really comfortable in the carrier and I liked that I could roll up the bottom for a more newborn fit. It brought his head closer to the bottom of my head aRead more about review stating Cozy, lightweight carriernd I felt like he was pretty secure in the carrier. There was less head support than I would like for a newborn though and would have liked the carrier to come up higher behind his head for more support. I felt like I had to put my hand behind his head to keep it against me if I leaned in any direction. Now that my baby is 8 weeks old and has slightly more control and a bit stronger neck, he feels more secure in it. I am planning on using this carrier significantly more once my baby has better head control, around 3 months old.
I love how lightweight the carrier is and the material is so soft and comfortable. It doesn’t feel bulky on me and even my husband, who dislikes baby-wearing, enjoys using this carrier with our baby. Neither of us gets sweaty using this carrier in higher temperature weather, due to how lightweight the fabric is. It is also fairly simple to put the carrier on without assistance. I struggled a little bit the first couple times putting it on and needed help bringing the straps around my back. Once I got the hang of it, it was relatively simple to put on the carrier without help. The hard part for me is holding my baby’s head up with one hand while I use the other hand to wrap the strap around my back. It is definitely easier to put on than any wrap I’ve ever tried, but it was slightly harder for me to put on than another soft structured carrier I have. This won’t be an issue though once he’s older and has more head control.
I love that I can use this carrier for a long time as my baby continues to grow. I can use it up to 25 pounds in a facing in or out position, which I love having the options. It’s small, easy to fold up, and fits well in my diaper bag without taking up a lot of room. I don’t feel like I’m wearing something super bulky and because of the supportive waistbelt and crossed shoulder straps, my body doesn’t get sore from carrying my baby. I do a lot of baby-wearing since I have two children under two years old and a supportive, lightweight, easy to put on myself carrier is a MUST. I definitely recommend the Ergobaby Embrace and am so thankful I was given one to try out.

Great Everyday Carrier
Ive been using the Ergobaby Embrace Carrier for a few weeks now. I used the Ergobaby structured carrier with my son, and don’t get me wrong, it does the job. I hiked the Smoky Mountains with him in it as a 1 year old! However, it’s bulky and awkward to sit in and not super comfortable for everyday baby wearing, so I was excited to try the new modeRead more about review stating Great Everyday Carrierl. The Embrace has lots of upgrades that I appreciate. For starters, the straps buckle on the side of your body, so you don’t need help to get baby in or out, or adjust the tension. It also doesn’t require watching internet tutorials or learning origami to figure out how to use! Very simple. With a new baby, simple is a must! Also, the wrap as a whole is lightweight, and easily to fold up to keep in a diaper bag, so you can travel with it. It is much more comfortable to wear, and sit in. I can wear baby to church, and it’s no problem to stand, sit down, or sit back in, particularly because there’s no buckle in the middle of my back. The material is super soft, so I’d imagine if my daughter could talk, she’d say it’s more comfortable, too. The part at the top that supports her head is padded and so is the waistband. There are no infant inserts or additional pieces to buy to carry a younger or smaller baby, you just roll the waistband. The only reason I give the carrier 4 stars instead of 5 is the shoulder straps. The ability to spread the straps down onto your shoulders is nice to adjust for baby’s face, but I found they don’t stay put. If I have to raise my arm to grab something on a shelf, for example, the straps slide back to the tops of my shoulders and they have to be readjusted, which does affect how secure baby is. I also feel like the straps have to be very tight under my chest to be able to bend over in the carrier and feel like baby is secure, and I still keep one arm on her when doing so, just in case. I do feel like that is the situation with every carrier I’ve tried, though, so not really a con, more of a common trait. Overall, way more pros and a big improvement when it comes to day to day wearing. Bottom line: it feels like a wrap, works like a structured carrier, is light and easy to travel with, adjustable for long term use and simple to put on. Definite buy!

Easy and comfortable
I bought this after not loving my wrap or structured carrier that I had registered for. This is just what I need! Baby prefers it and it?s so much more comfortable and easy to use for me. I was trying to do a one and done carrier but I?m realizing thats not always the way to go. I?m glad I got this for baby?s first year.

Great carrier -mom, dad, and baby approve! Not a 5-star due to the straps continuing to ride towards neck. Not really a big problem, just loosens the slack and needs to be tightened after a while (annoying when wearing a jacket over the whole thing.)
Still would recommend!

Wonderful product
With all 3 of my kids I’ve used a wrap, and have loved it. However some drawbacks to me were the time it took to wrap, and sometimes user error(not being tight enough and having to take baby out and start again) this especially got tricky with having a newborn and 2 other little ones. So I bought this and am SO GLAD I did. I recommend it to everyoRead more about review stating Wonderful productne now. Its the coziness of a newborn wrap with the ease of a clip and pull of a strap.
